Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our dietary team. You will help ensure residents receive quality meals and service in a clean, safe environment on day and evening shifts.

Responsibilities include meal prep, tray setup, meal service, tray clearance, and aiding kitchen cleanliness. Weekend work is required; computer skills are a plus, and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Flexible availability and weekends required.
• Computer skills are a plus.

Join the dynamic dietary team at Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents receive quality meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Perform preparatory work for meals, including setting up dining rooms.

• Set up food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, and other items.

• Serve meals to residents and pour beverages as needed.

• Clear trays and dishes and reset dining rooms.

• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage areas.

• Dispose of trash properly.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including sitting, standing, and walking.

• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Computer skills are a plus.

• Must be able to work weekends.
