Job summary

Fitchburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a Dietary Services Assistant to support meal service and resident care. You will portion and serve meals, deliver trays, and help keep dining areas clean, while working on tray lines and dish/cleaning duties.

Flexible hours are required, including mornings through evenings with every other weekend and holiday rotation; training will be provided for the right candidate and there are benefits available.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to speak English adequately to perform job.
• Must be flexible between the hours of 6 am and 8 pm.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.

Responsibilities

• Portioning and serving of food items.
• Delivering of trays and carts to resident floors.
• Cleaning of dining rooms.
• Working on the tray line.
• Working in the dish room and pot sink.
• Sweeping and mopping.
• Disposal of trash and recyclables.
• Per Diem duties as outlined by Director of Dietary Services.
