Job summary

East Bay Post Acute is seeking a Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our compassionate dietary team. You will assist with meal preparation, portioning, and timely delivery of nutritious meals to residents in a clean, safe environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare setting while adhering to dietary restrictions and infection-control practices. Previous healthcare food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Skilled nursing or healthcare dietary experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving according to menus and dietary restrictions.
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas as needed.
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area sanitation and safety.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Report resident dietary concerns to the staff.
• Support residents with special diets and meal requests.
