Job summary

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Burlington, Vermont is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team. You will assist the Cook in preparing and serving meals, ensuring residents receive quality food service.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and caring Dietary Aide to join our Food Services team! As a Dietary Aide, you will assist our Cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality food service. Your duties will include:

• Preparing and delivering food and trays

• Washing dishes and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen according to health standards

• Placing prepared food on plates/trays in accordance with tray tickets

• Demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality food service

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training in food service desirable

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English; follow directions and complete tasks

• Experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods

• General knowledge and understanding of nutrition
