Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support our dining services team in providing nutritious meals to residents at our Florida facility. This part-time role involves serving meals, keeping kitchens and dining areas clean, following safety standards, and assisting with meal prep as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, storage and sanitation.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous food service experience preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas following sanitation and safety standards.
• Deliver and retrieve meal carts, trays, plates, and utensils in a respectful and timely manner.
• Support meal preparation, plating, and kitchen organization as needed.
• Report supply needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training related to dietary procedures and resident needs.
• Follow all food handling, infection control, and safety guidelines.
