Dietary Aide (Food Services)
The dietary aide assignments are determined based on the needs of the activity during the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and effectively communicate with managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
Must obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requires standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling frequently; sitting occasionally; talking, hearing, tasting, smelling frequently; lifting up to 50 pounds frequently; occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling; good visual perception.
Work usually occurs in a low to moderate noise environment. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
