Job summary

Brookshire Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brookshire, TX is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support dietary services in long-term care and rehabilitation settings.

You will assist with meal preparation and service, keep the kitchen and dining areas sanitary, and help residents with their nutritional needs under supervision of the dietary manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food service or healthcare dietary setting is a plus.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
• Food Handler's Certification (as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.

• Set up and break down dining areas and steam tables.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dietary services in our long-term care, nursing home, and rehabilitation center settings.
