Job summary

Meadowbrook Facilities in Brockton is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal service in a health and human services setting. The role is scheduled 3pm–7pm, with pay ranging from $20 to $23.50 per hour depending on experience and education.

Duties include following approved menus, infection control practices, HIPAA and confidentiality rules, opening/closing tasks, and ensuring safe food handling; a HS diploma or GED is required, with 403b retirement available.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with Federal Regulations, 42CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations
• Infection Control standards—hand washing, PPE, blood spill kits, etc.
• Food safety certification required within the first year
• Preparation and serving of assigned meals following approved menu by the Nutrition Committee
• Opening/closing duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by the Site Director / Program Director / Director of Dietary to insure safe and appropriate operation of the facility

Dietary Aide Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance with Federal Regulations, 42CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work
• Must have the ability to work with chemically dependent, dully diagnosed and clients with other behavioral health issues
