Job summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL, is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. This part-time role from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM supports meal service, prepares and sets up resident trays, and helps maintain a clean, safe dining environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing home, skilled nursing facility, long-term care, healthcare, hospital, restaurant or food service preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow individualized dietary and meal requirements accurately.
• Dependable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate a respectful and compassionate approach when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and set up resident meal trays according to individualized diets and meal tickets.
• Ensure meals are delivered to residents accurately, promptly, and courteously.
• Assist with meal service and dining room setup and cleanup.
• Retrieve meal trays and properly break down trays after meals.
• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen duties as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen, dining, and food service areas.
• Perform trash removal, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and other cleaning duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and facility policies.
• Assist with food preparation and service for special events and resident activities.
• Properly handle food, dishes, utensils, and dietary equipment.
• Maintain dietary supplies and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments to meet resident needs.

Qualifications
