Job summary

Northgate Health & Rehab is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide (Float/Flex) to join our dietary services team at our Bessemer, AL location. This flexible position offers variety across shifts and the opportunity to support residents with nutritious meals and excellent service daily.

As part of the dietary team, you will assist with meal service, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help ensure compliance with food safety standards in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
• Commitment to providing excellent service to residents.
