Job summary

Lorien Harmony Hall, a Lorien Health Services community in Columbia, MD, is hiring Dietary Aides to support meals and dining for residents in an assisted living/memory care setting. This PRN opportunity offers flexible days, evenings, nights and weekends, with the chance to contribute to quality resident care.

Eligible applicants must be at least 17 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties; full safety and sanitation standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years or older.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities.
• PRN (as needed) hour availability; schedule includes days, evenings, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents.
• Serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and portion controls.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and service areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as assigned.
• Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation standards.
• Work collaboratively with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident needs.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to residents and guests.
• Assist with other dietary duties as needed to support daily operations

Pay Rate

$16.00-$16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Assist with meal preparation and food service for residents

• Serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and portion controls
