Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide assists with daily dietary functions, maintains a clean and safe environment, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and portion food following recipes and menus
• Assist in meal setup and delivery
• Manage stock on delivery days
• Wash and store pots, pans, dishes, and utensils; clean work areas
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Understanding of safe dietary procedures and geriatric needs
• Willingness to work in residents' best interest
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Some dietary experience preferred
