Job summary

National Health Care Associates in Augusta, ME is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support residents' dietary needs through meal preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

You will follow menus, help with portioning, sanitation, and collaborate with the dietary team to meet special dietary needs. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with training provided and opportunities for growth within a compassionate, community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Compassionate and patient with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals following menus and dietary requirements.
• Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of meals.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Stock and organize food and supplies; support dietary team as needed.
