Job summary

HHS Talent Solutions, LLC is hiring a Diet Technician at Stonewall Memorial Hospital. The role supports a registered dietitian to ensure patients receive excellent nutritional care, performing nutritional screenings and assessments, and managing diet preferences and meal plans.

You will document care plans in the medical record, oversee patient services and production staff, ensure meals meet resident needs, and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food and Nutrition, or accredited diet technician program.
• Must be RDT/CDR or licensed RD/LD/LDT.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments for patients to create care plans with nutritional goals.
• Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
• Provide oversight for patient services and production staff and monitor meal service.
• Ensure patient preferences are recorded on meal tickets and that all meals and snacks adhere to the resident’s needs.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
