Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly dietary aide to join our hospital dietary team at Stonewall Memorial Hospital District. You will assist patients with menu selection, deliver meals promptly, and provide courteous service to ensure patient satisfaction.

The role offers day, evening, and night shifts with both full-time and part-time options. Candidates must be 18+, good English communication, and eligible to work in the U.S.; culinary experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• English communication and teamwork required.
• Culinary experience preferred (cook, kitchen, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal.

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Wage: $18/hour

Full-time and part-time positions available

Day/Evening/Night shifts available

Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Location: Stonewall Memorial Hospital District

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
