Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate cook to join our culinary team at Stonewall Memorial Hospital District. Under the guidance of the chef/production manager, you will cook meals and provide food service for patients, the retail cafe, and catering events.

We value teamwork, reliability, and strong English communication. Full-time and part-time shifts (day, evening, and night) are available, with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for residents, patients, visitors, and hospital staff
• Follow company recipes and guidelines to prepare all food items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures

• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
