Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) seeks a friendly Dietary Aide at Tampa General Hospital, DeSoto, to assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly in a hospital dining setting. The role offers both full-time and part-time options with rotating day/evening/night shifts and a wage of $15 per hour.

You will follow health and safety policies, provide excellent patient service, and work with the dietary team to ensure meals match orders and dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals in a timely fashion.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
