Job summary

HHS is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the Bon Secours Anderson Hospital dietary team. You will assist patients with menu selection, deliver meals promptly, and ensure patient satisfaction through excellent service.

The role requires maintaining hygiene, working in a team, and following health and safety policies. Day/evening/night shifts are available, with background checks and eligibility verification conducted.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
