Position Details:

• Full-Time

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting with daily functions of the Dietary Department and maintaining a clean, safe work environment for all resident meals, in accordance with facility, OBRA, Federal, State, and other regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and portioning food following recipes and menus.
• Assist with meal setup and delivery.
• Manage stock and supplies on delivery days.
• Wash and store pots, pans, dishes, and utensils; sweep and mop floors; perform other cleaning duties.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Keep dietary work areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of safe dietary procedures and geriatric community needs.
• Willingness to work in the best interest of residents and the facility.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; not required.
• Some dietary experience preferred.
