Washington County Hospital & Nursing Home seeks a Dietary / Housekeeping Aide - PRN to assist with patient food service and dish duties. Responsibilities include preparing food trays for various diets, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the kitchen.
The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with prior experience preferred. This role offers flexible PRN work in a supportive hospital environment.
Under the direction of the on‑duty Cook and Nutrition Services Director, the Dietary aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties such as preparing food trays for general and therapeutic diets, delivering items as requested by patient care units, maintaining tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner, preparing special diet foods, serving hospital food to employees and guests, loading and overseeing dishwashers, washing specified items by hand, disposing of trash, mopping floors, cleaning walk‑in refrigerators and storage areas, stocking groceries, assisting in preparing salads, desserts and nourishments, performing special cleaning duties as assigned, and cross‑training in housekeeping department.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
