Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, Inc. is seeking a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) to assist the Dietitian in providing nutrition services to a broad patient population at our hospital in Cambridge, MA. You will help with meal selections, nourishments, and formulas tailored to individual needs.

The role emphasizes accurate assessment of nutritional needs, patient interviews for preferences and allergies, and meticulous record-keeping to support patient care and diet therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Education requirement as stated: High School Diploma or GED or Associate's Degree in Dietetics.
• DTR/NDTR preferred credential.
• Experience as a Dietetic technician with multiple patient populations is preferred (1–2 years).
• Good communication skills, high level of service delivery, attention to detail, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dietitian in assessing nutritional needs and meal selections.
• Interview patients to identify food preferences and allergies.
• DTRs: assess calorie counts, percentage of food consumed, meal rounds, and diet restriction monitoring.
• Maintain pertinent records.
