Compass Group USA operates a Diet Technician role in Atlanta, GA, supporting dining services with student dietary needs, allergen awareness, and nutrition program delivery.

The Diet Technician works alongside our Registered Dietitian, culinary team, and managers to ensure safe, nutritious meals and campus wellness initiatives, with a focus on regulatory compliance and education for associates and clients.

Qualifications

• NDTR or Bachelor’s in Nutrition or related field required.
• Prior food service experience preferred; ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office and nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Implements Bon Appetit food philosophy and wellness programs under supervision of the Registered Dietitian.
• Supports account in meeting nutrition-related regulatory requirements.
• Leads the food allergy program, including staff training and corrective action reporting.
• Participates in menu development and nutrient analysis.
• Serves as nutrition resource for the account and maintains relationships with the internal team.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service and wellness.

• Location: Bon Appetit Management Company at Emory University
• Schedule: Full time, onsite, Monday-Friday, with nights and weekends as needed
• Requirement: Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered (NDTR) or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
• Job Details: The Diet Technician supports nutrition and dining operations by assisting with student dietary needs, allergen awareness, recipe and menu analysis, and nutrition and wellness programming. Working alongside our Registered Dietitian, culinary team, and managers, this role helps deliver safe, nutritious meals and supports campus wellness initiatives.
• Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the account in meeting nutrition related regulatory requirements, including federal labeling laws and local and state requirements
• Leads the food allergy program to include staff training and corrective action reporting
• Participates in menu and recipe development and nutrient analysis
• Serves as supporting nutrition resource for the account, including maintaining and growing relationships with the internal team
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service, culinary and nutrition trends, wellness technology, and college student health and wellness
• Provides nutrition and wellness education and training for associates, clients, and customers

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or relevant field
• Prior food service experience preferredServeSafe certification preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
