Job summary

Bon Appetit is hiring a full-time Diet Technician in Atlanta, GA, to support dining services on a university campus. You will work with the Registered Dietitian, culinary team, and managers to deliver nutritious meals and wellness programs.

The role focuses on allergen awareness, nutrient analysis, menu development, and nutrition education for staff and students. Onsite schedule includes weekdays with possible nights/weekends. Join a team dedicated to healthful, responsible dining.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) by the CDR or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and nutrient analysis programming.

Responsibilities

• Implements Bon Appetit food philosophy and wellness programs under the supervision of the Registered Dietitian.
• Supports nutrition-related regulatory requirements including federal labeling laws and local/state requirements.
• Leads the food allergy program including staff training and corrective action reporting.
• Participates in menu and recipe development and nutrient analysis.
• Serves as nutrition resource for the account and maintains relationships with the internal team.
• Keeps knowledge current on nutrition topics related to food service, culinary and wellness trends.
• Provides nutrition education and training for associates, clients, and customers.

• Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or relevant field
• Prior food service experience preferred

• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
