Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient Room Service selections according to the diet prescription.
• Answer calls using AIDET techniques and greet patients by name.
• Enter patient meal orders into the CBORD computer system.
• Verify that meal selections meet diet guidelines or suggest alternatives.
• Print orders for tray assembly and delivery or schedule print times.
• Enter Behavioral Health paper menu selections into the CBORD system.
• Ensure all patients receive the correct diet.
• Process diet orders sent via Care Connection and update CBORD.
• Arrange for trays to be sent as appropriate.
• Provide late night meal service as assigned.
• Complete assigned data collection for weekly reports.
