Qualifications

• Prior healthcare and dietary aide experience required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and collects menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections in line with prescribed diets.
• Offers alternatives to menu as allowed by prescribed diet and patient allergies or sensitivities.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula.
• Adheres to HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Follows infection-control policies and procedures.
• Completes required documentation and logs.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
