Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Diet Clerk at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. This full-time role supports patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions under supervision of the Nutrition Manager. Training is available for the right candidate.

The role involves distributing menus, assisting patients with diet-compliant selections, and ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards. Rotating weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital dietary services preferred.
• Ability to follow prescribed diets and assist dietitian.
• Respect patient confidentiality and HIPAA.
• Willing to train.

Responsabilités

• Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions, as needed.
• Distributes and collect menus.
• Assists patients in completing menu selections in compliance with prescribed diet, as assigned by dietitian.
• Plans regular and modified menus based on current diet manual.
• Prepares and distributes supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in an accurate and timely manner.
• Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
• Completes all required documentation, reports and logs.
