We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time DIET CLERK positions.

Location: Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital - 100 Callen Boulevard, Summerville, SC 29461. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedule; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior food service, healthcare, or retail cook experience is required.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect menus.
• Assist patients with menu selections in accordance with prescribed diets.
• Offer menu alternatives based on allergies, sensitivities, or cultural preferences.
• Plan and prepare regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
• Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
• Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula as applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Follow regulatory standards and complete required documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
