Job Summary

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Distribute and collect menus.
2. Assist patients with menu selections in compliance with prescribed diets.
3. Offer menu alternatives considering allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
4. Plan regular and modified menus based on current diet guidelines.
5. Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
6. Manage human/donor milk and infant formula inventory and distribution as needed.
7. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
8. Adhere to regulatory standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
9. Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
10. Follow infection-control policies and procedures.
11. Participate in Performance Improvement initiatives.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
