The position involves providing direct customer service for patients, ensuring accurate and compliant meal orders, and requires strong interpersonal skills. Location: US:WI:WAUWATOSA at our FROEDTERT BLUEMOUND REHAB HOSP facility.
This job is ON-SITE.
FTE: 0.3 (approximately 12 hours a week)
Shift: Shift 2 (may qualify for shift differential)
Provides direct one-on-one customer service for meal fulfillment from patients, nurses, and other disciplines (providers, speech therapy, dietitians). Has in-depth understanding of diet and nutrient restrictions to ensure accurate and compliant meals, maintaining the integrity of diet orders. Facilitates communication between healthcare disciplines for diet order verification and uses problem-solving skills to resolve issues, ensuring diet order accuracy in computer systems (Epic and Cbord). Responsible for data analytics to ensure patient safety processes are met. The position requires meeting the needs of all five hospital entities without error to ensure meal order accuracy and fulfillment.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare food service or customer service is required, including work with computer applications involving customer service, food service, or call centers. Knowledge of nutrition through coursework or experience is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education is preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary to interact courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
