Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Diet Department Support role to assist the dietitian with therapeutic menu approvals and ensuring accurate tray temperatures for patient meals. Evening shifts are available in a hospital setting across Maine.

The position requires an AA degree in Food Science or Nutrition, healthcare experience with modified diets preferred, and County Specific Food Handlers certification at hire. Compensation is $18.00–$21.75 per hour.

Overview

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred
  • One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred

County Specific requirement.

  • County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current

Pay Transparency

Central Maine Long Term Care offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $18.00 to $21.75. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
