Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and distribute meals to patients, staff, and visitors. You will work across the patient tray line, cafeteria, and events, ensuring timely service and high sanitation standards.

The role supports a patient-centered food service operation and requires reliable attendance and teamwork. Qualified candidates follow English instructions, can read/write, and may receive on-the-job training.

This is done through the patient tray line, the cafeteria, and functions. The position is also responsible for a number of tasks in order to maintain the quality service to all of our customers while maintaining the highest sanitary conditions in accordance with policies and procedures.I. Major Responsibilities:1. Follows all HACCP standards2. Follows all contract services policies and procedures3. Possesses excellent customer service skills4. Attends up to 75% of department meetings5. Follows and adheres to all supervisor and management instruction6. Assists in keeping all Press Ganey scores within or greater than departmental targets / goalsStandard Staffing Level Responsibilities:1.
