Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a dietary aide to support meal service in a long-term care facility in New York. You will assist the cook, prepare and serve meals, and follow safety and dietary regulations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to schedules, and ability to perform routine tasks with interruptions. Prior dietary service experience is preferred and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in dietary service is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand recipe directions, diet orders, tallies and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work using dietary utensils, supplies and equipment as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
• Meet scheduled meal and snack times.
• Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals.
• Follow Federal, State and local long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Set dining rooms for resident service.
• Serve meals.
• Stock pantry and cupboards with dishware and food items as per par levels.
• Attend in-service educational programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Dietary Supervisor.
