Job Overview:

Provides nutritional care services to patients by assisting in the implementation of prescribed dietary regimens. Coordinates tasks of the diet office with patient tray service. Visits patients and families to obtain menu selections.

Qualifications:

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• 1-2 years in a healthcare-related facility in a comparable position
• BS in Nutrition or working toward a degree

Scheduling Requirements:

Shift varies: day shifts, including 6a-2:30p, 7a-3:30p, 8a-4:30p, 11a-7:30p, 3:30p-7:30p

Days vary; some weekdays, weekends, and holidays required. Per Diem.

Essential Functions:

• Visits patients and obtains meal menu selections.

Other Duties:

• Answer phones professionally and promptly
• Provide excellent customer service
• Print meal tickets and coordinate meal service for patients
