Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Defiance, Ohio is seeking a Die Setter to retrieve tooling, set tooling and dies in press, and inspect test parts for quality.

You will use inspection cards and master samples to verify specifications and make adjustments to ensure first-pass quality. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, reading quality cards, entering part information into ERP, setting up equipment, operating presses and drill presses, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

Description

Position Summary:

Die Setter is responsible for retrieving tooling and setting tooling and dies in press. The Die Setter will use check card and master sample for specifications to accurately make test part and inspect. When necessary die setter will make adjustments to ensure quality then green tag first good part. Die setter will verify product quality by inspection and measuring equipment
