MCNICOL MOTORS LLC in Boulder, CO is seeking a Fleet/Diesel Technician with 4-5 years of experience to join our team. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, using shop software and extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

If you have a “never give up” attitude and are willing to problem-solve until you find the best solution for the customer, we want to hear from you. The role offers a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule, with some Saturdays, and opportunities for career advancement through hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred.
• AES/S AE certification is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communications skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicles and identify malfunctions.
• Maintain service center procedures for tracking repair status and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of engine, transmission and brakes.
• Communicate repair information clearly to customers and ensure satisfaction.

Job Summary

We are looking for an Fleet/Diesel Technician with 4-5 Years of experience to join our team.

Monday-Friday 8-5, some Saturdays.

As an Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the shop's computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
• Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

• An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
• Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is preferred
