Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before assembly using measuring tools.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt components to obtain configured positions.
• Operate grinding and welding equipment and prepare vehicles (gas/diesel) for operation.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance and diagnose/repair vehicle systems.
• Maintain records and reports and ensure safety and quality standards.
