Responsibilities include routine maintenance such as oil changes and battery checks, assisting with vehicle issues, and maintaining yard safety. A high school diploma, 1+ years of experience on heavy trucks, and DOT inspection experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Move company equipment safely on yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is properly parked and secured per DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility via housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
