Clean Harbors Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join our safety focused team. The role focuses on repairs and preventative maintenance for the company fleet, ensuring reliability and compliance with DOT and safety standards.

You will perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and inspections, move equipment on site, and support drivers with vehicle issues. A High School diploma and 1+ year experience are required; company benefits follow full-time

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ year DOT inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Change oil, check batteries, lubricate machinery and vehicles.
• Move equipment on yard and assist drivers with issues.
• Complete daily inspection checklist and ensure proper parking/locking.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and perform other duties as needed.
