Clean Harbors in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to repair and maintain the company fleet with a strong emphasis on safety. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure DOT compliance while supporting drivers and yard operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
• Ability to pass background, drug, and physical test upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices and policies.
• Move company equipment safely on yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Complete daily checklist as required.
• Ensure equipment is parked/secured in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility via housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
