Clean Harbors in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair the company fleet. The role focuses on safety, preventative maintenance, and timely resolution of vehicle issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, oil changes, battery checks, and ensuring proper parking and securement per DOT rules. Candidates should have a HS diploma, tool ownership, and DOT inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• 1+ years experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred, not required.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and physical screening upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and follow safe work practices.
• Move company equipment safely around the yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is parked and secured per DOT and facility guidelines.
• Maintain the facility through housekeeping activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
