Clean Harbors Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join our safety-focused team. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on our fleet, ensuring reliability and DOT compliance.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ years experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment, 1+ years DOT inspection experience, and you must provide your own basic tools. Certification in related mechanical fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as the top priority in all tasks.
• Move equipment safely around the yard.
• Assist drivers with addressing vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on fleet.
• Carry out routine maintenance like oil changes and lubrications.
• Complete daily checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is parked and secured per DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
