Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a hands-on technician to diagnose and repair Freightliner Custom Chassis products. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot diesel and gasoline systems, and perform electrical and HVAC repairs with MIG/TIG welding and cutting tools.

Expect travel, flexible hours, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality. The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid CDL with passenger endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 6 months, and providing your own

Qualifications

• Read and interpret discrepancy and parts shortage reports and provide repairs per FCCC procedures.
• Exempt from daily overtime per FCCC policy.
• High School Diploma required.
• Good driving record and CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Willing to travel on short notice and work flexible hours.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues on products using proper service procedures and techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and repair per FCCC procedures.
• Utilize welding and cutting equipment as needed to complete repairs.
• Read and interpret discrepancy and parts reports to determine repairs.
