Job summary

TRS MACCLENNY in Macclenny, FL is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Truck Technician to maintain our trucks and refrigeration equipment. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot diesel systems to keep our fleet road-ready.

The role offers night-shift differential, ASE pay, PTO from day one, comprehensive medical plans, and 401(k) with company match. Valid CDL and toolbox are required; prior DOT inspections experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle both interior/exterior trailer cleaning.
• Perform APU service and general road service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
