Job summary

Tyson Foods in Scranton, AR is hiring a Diesel Maintenance Mechanic (ME01–ME06) for the C Shift (days). You will perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers, including oil changes, greasing, tire and brake work, and work within Tyson safety policies.

Applicants must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license, supply their own tools, be able to lift 60 pounds, and pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment. You must be 18+ and willing to work A, B, C or D shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have Mechanical/maintenance skills listed in work history or skills section.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older and have a valid Arkansas driver's license.
• Must supply own tools and be able to lift 60 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers: oil changes, greasing, tire and brake work.
• Repair or replace components as needed while following Tyson policies and procedures.
• Document maintenance actions and communicate with team members.
