Job summary

Tyson Foods in Scranton, AR is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Maintenance to service diesel trucks and trailers on the C Shift (Wed-Sat). The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, tool ownership, and ability to meet physical demands.

You will perform preventative maintenance, road-ready inspections, and document work while following Tyson policies and maintaining a safe work environment. A Arkansas driver's license and successful yard assessment are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Mechanical/maintenance skills.
• Must possess Arkansas Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must supply your own tools for maintenance.
• Must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers, including oil changes, greasing, and brake/tire work.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with Tyson policies.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate findings.
