Job summary

National Tank Services in Pasadena, TX seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and compliance. You will work with diagnostic tools, complete inspections, and document condition reports in line with company standards.

Role requires a valid driver’s license, experience with 18-wheelers, and the ability to use scan tools and engines diagnostics. Monday–Friday schedule with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.
• Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenance
• Open repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair order
• Perform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standards
• Performs shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
• Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.
• Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.
