Job summary

Dallas Trailer Repair Co. is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform diagnostics, tune-ups, and repairs on trucks and trailer equipment.

The role requires solid knowledge of mechanical tools, service procedures, and safety practices, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team. Candidates should have 1–2 years of mechanical experience, own tool set, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical or equivalent experience.
• ASE certifications highly desired but not required.
• Must pass pre-employment knowledge/skill test, background check, and drug screen.
• Must have own tools and safety gear.
• Valid driver’s license (Mobile Technician if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicle, engine, and trailer systems.
• Perform routine maintenance per standards and specs.
• Document cause/repair action in the software system.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety rules.
• Operate a mobile repair vehicle if assigned.
