Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a Diesel Automotive Technician in Lihue, HI for a full-time position at our service center. The role includes warranty and mechanical repairs, routine maintenance, and DOT inspections to ensure safe, reliable vehicles.

Applicants should have at least two years of diesel repair experience, own hand tools, and a plan to obtain ASE certifications. The job offers competitive hourly pay starting at $36.50 with potential add-ons for ASE and Safety License Certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have valid driver's license with limited moving violations.
• No recent DUI/DWI on driving record.
• Able to read/write/speak English.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Two years of diesel mechanical experience.
• Own standard hand tools.
• Aspire to obtain ASE certifications within 9 months if not already.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to work full-time, weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete warranty and mechanical repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Provide safe, reliable vehicles after repairs.
• Perform DOT required repairs and inspections.
• Read and interpret diagnostic results with equipment.
• Raise heavy vehicles using jacks/hoists.
• Inspect brakes, steering, transmissions, engines and other parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and lubrication.
• Document repair history accurately.
• Follow parts/inventory procedures and use diagnostic tools.
• Support fleet processes for LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Attend company/manufacturer training.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with standards.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
