Job summary

Vanguard Truck Centers LLC in Clarksville, TN is seeking motivated Diesel Technicians to join a growing, profitable team. You will diagnose and repair diesel trucks, order parts, perform road tests, and document work on repair orders while upholding safety and dealership standards.

You will participate in training, stay current with manufacturer bulletins, and collaborate with senior technicians to advance through levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or completion of vocational/technical school.
• 1–2 years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain CDL.
• Must have base tools or obtain within 30 days.
• Major tooling provided in house.

Responsibilities

• Perform diesel truck repair work as per repair order with accuracy and efficiency.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs on diesel trucks or equipment.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required or refer to test technician.
• Stay current with manufacturer bulletins and participate in training.
