Job summary

Jgpete in Utah/Washington is seeking a seasoned General Technician for dealership vehicle service. You will diagnose and repair trucks and perform a wide range of mechanical tasks including brakes, transmissions, clutches, and electrical systems, ensuring timely service and quality workmanship.

You will attend training, keep up with factory bulletins, follow safety procedures, and document work with photos.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a general technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair in a timely manner.
• Perform general repairs including but not limited to clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, AC, oil changes, bolt on components, and replace transmissions.
• Tag all warranty parts and returns, take photos.
• Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor.
